Normal sprites

Now, I dunno anything specific, but could you do parody of something that would allow you to use the normal sprites?
o-o Like, a Rave Master parody.... Maybe.
I dunno. But then the fights could be totally super-intense-awesome-pwnage.

We were thinking about that, but the point of the parodies is that we use the sprites from that series, y'know? But don't worry: just because the parodies have outnumbered the normal sprite storylines so far doesn't mean that will be the case by the time the comic ends. Beginning with Negative Author (which, as I'm sure you're all aware, is coming up right after Zelda) the comic's going to take a drastic turn towards original storylines (which will be a little less wacky but I'll do the best I can to retain humor while promoting a story as well) and which should have some kickass fights in them. ^_^

MEGAMAN X! or Megaman Zero....one of those...Cuz im doing a MMX/Z Marody in my Comic >_> Yah...though i feel your pain...Comics can be a pain to make...
Vile=Zoru (Though i suck at recolouring Vile i made him look like someone puked all over him)
Megaman=Mav
Zero=Dante
...Yes...That might work....*nods*Who knows its a pitch of a 1 year later thing thats probably not gunna happen!

Yeah, I'm not gonna be doing an X parody... I know the storyline is different, but the gameplay is essentially the same as Mega Man, which I already parodied. So... Yeah. Not gonna happen. Sorry. lol
Oh, and for the record, if I were to do an X parody, Dante would definitely be a red Vile, Zoru'd probably be an orange X, and Mav a blue Zero. Can't have Mav be X and Dante be Zero 'cause they're already blue and red. And then people would mistake them for... Well, X and Zero. lol

what about one baised on naruto? You've got the tallentless determined moron in zoru (naruto), the smart calm and collected one in mav (kakashi/sakaue), the girl (diva man) and the pycopath in dante (sakaue?)

i've got it! what about a brawl supspace emersary one? you reference playing it all the time, and it is a sweet game. What about zoru as mario, mav as link and dante as samus mabey, then you could get the final smash woman jokes in, or possibly pit

People, just pay attention to one thing, just one thing when suggesting parodies that, apparently, you just ignore:
Vince does the parody with character with different colors than the originals! He dos NOT want them the same colors! Not all three, not two, not even only one.
Sorry if I sound rude, but really, it seems to me everyone is looking for a way to match someone's color...

I wasn't talking about you. I actually wasn't talking about anyone.
I just figured out how a Sonic parody could go: Zoru as Sonic on Crack, Mav as Tails and Dante as... Either Amy or Cream.
Besides Knukles being Red, these two use weapons, which I believe fits Dante (with Cream, there is even the Animal Rights issue), and they are girls - once again, who wouldn't like Girly Dante jokes for at least some times (of course, over the parody they would get old, but there are still the gunz).
But of course, there are probably going to be many storylines before any sing of parody shows up.

I've thought about a Sonic parody before... Using my normal line of reasoning, I figured out sprites for the guys, but I ran into a rather obvious problem:
Mav would be a blue Sonic, Zoru would be an orange Tails, and Dante would be a red Knuckles.
...
So, in my infinite wisdom, I came up with two possible solutions:
1) They would be Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, but instead of recoloring them, I would give them their clothes (and possibly change their fur to their hair color, though that would make them all black.)
2) Go in a different direction and recolor them based off the Chaotix... Mav would be a blue Espio, Zoru an orange Charmy, and Dante a red Vector.
I still don't know which I'd go with assuming I ever do a Sonic parody... I will say this though - As a comic that started with video game parodies, it would be a real shame to not parody two of the biggest franchises in gaming history - those being Mario and Sonic.

Have you considered bringing in Shadow into the mix as opposed to Tails? Shadow being the darker character who projects energy as an attack.
